George and I were at Costco the other day, and I turned my back for a few seconds. With the cunning and patience of a jewel thief, George had been biding his time, waiting for that moment. In a flash, he reached back into the cart (well beyond what I had assumed to be the limits of his reach), opened the package, and grabbed a nice big chocolate chip cookie. When I turned back around, he was sitting there munching --- as if he had no idea how this cookie had found its way into his hands.
Enjoy that cookie, little man, because we won't underestimate your reach again.
