This set of pictures typifies the love-fest that we've had in the Gulde household for the last two weeks. Francis usually has hugs and kisses for her brother, George.
Standing in our living room today, however, Francis looked at me and said "George go home." She was scowling, but I'm going to assume she meant to say "George has come home." Her limited understanding of grammar, specifically tense and mood, created ambiguity in a statement intended to be poignant. That's our Francis, she's sweet, she loves her brother, and she doesn't want him to go away so she can play with her mommy and daddy in peace. You hear that, little girl?
