Happy Mother's Day to me! :)

Today Francis and I shared our last one on one Mother's day. With all of the anxiety and excitement around the corner with baby #2, it was a great day with my sweet Matt and my precious little Francis.

This morning I woke up to her singing "Now I know my A, B, C, now I know, now I know..." and other goodies like "My Chair!" and "Ellie's house." I've come to realize that in those minutes before we go get her from her crib she practices all of her new words and phrases regardless of context. She just likes trying them out and hearing herself say them...and they make me wake up smiling everyday.

Then as I turned over to put my glasses on, I noticed a little box by my bedside containing an antique silver locket with my two babies photos inside (Scout and Francis, of course). However, I think Scout may be outted from the locket come July. :) After a lazy morning, we headed out to breakfast, Oak Brook mall (where this photos was taken), and then back home for a nice long nap! After the nap, we walked to the park and then headed to a restaurant I've been wanting to try for a long time here in Oak Park called Cocina Paradiso. It was awesome... a day of no cooking and Matt was super dad and took on primary Francis duty. ;) I just got to sit back and completely enjoy the good company of my two best friends. Thanks guys. I love you.

ok, for some reason your entry made me cry, oh yeah probably because I miss my husband, ok enough of that. So, how do you get all of the music for your clips because I cannot get the itunes to work in windows movie maker, so I need to figure out how to get music a different way I guess???
