It's 9:54 pm and Matt is sleeping in the chair across from me. His head just bobbled like one of those little dashboard puppies. He is so funny. He does this all of the time. Despite the fact that we have the most uncomfortable living room furniture of all time he falls asleep here almost 3 times a week. I think he just wants to hang out with Scout and I, but just can't quite make it past 10pm. I love him so much.
We rented a truck and cleared out our living room and office of excess furniture today. We hauled it off to our dear friends, Brian and Lauren Breit's house. Thank you so much guys! Tomorrow we have a meeting. with our realtor Dave and he's going to give us some final pointers on what we should do to get our house ready to list.
I'm starting to get really sad about leaving. I'm really really going to miss this house and miss our neighborhood. This place is just so special to us... we started our marriage here, our family here.. big sigh... Whenever I get sad though, I just imagine the basement at our new house and think about how great it will be for me to finally have a studio space all to myself. Finally a place for me to paint and sew and not have to pull all of that junk out onto the dining room table. ;)
Alrighty, well... I think it's time for me to wake up my hubby and get him to bed.

Yeah, that's a "candid" photo. NOT! Notice how he just happens to have his arm curled at the precise angle to show off his sculpted gun? A staged photo if I have ever seen one. I am surprised and disappointed that Sally would enable Matt's vanity in such a bold manner.
